Think of someone who is multi-racial; someone who is Ojibway, French and Carribean. On some days they identify more as Ojibway and on others as French. Some day they feel more connected to their Carribean identity and on other days they are a mix of all three. How they identify is their choice and we need to respect those choices.
According to Wikipedia, someone who is genderfluid
On some days, a genderfluid person identifies as male, some days as female and, on other days identifies as anywhere else on that gigantic spectrum between those two binaries of "male" and "female".
WHAT IS GENDERFLUID NOT?
Being genderfluid is NOT about your sexual or romantic attraction, it is about which gender or mix of genders you FEEL. A genderfluid person may also use other identifiers. For example, someone could identify as genderfluid lesbian as their gender identify changes but their attraction is only for other lesbian women. Another example: a gender fluid person may also identify as pansexual in that they are attracted to many or all types of gender. A pansexual person isn't always genderfluid and a genderfluid person isn't always pansexual. They are DIFFERENT identifiers...one is gender identity and one is sexual attraction.
IS BISEXUALITY OR BIGENDERISM THE SAME AS GENDERFLUIDITY?
No. Someone who is bisexual or bigender tend to fluctuate from two points on the spectrum whereas someone who is genderfluid moves ANYWHERE in between (and including) those two points.
